Caroline & Robert are the proud owners and hosts of the Riviera Bed & Breakfast, a niche accommodation on the Gold Coast, near Gilston/Nerang, the Gateway to the hinterland.
Caroline is a Queenslander, born in Bundaberg. She developed a love for Queenslanders after having lived in two as a small child. Caroline had the privilege of living in Switzerland before enjoying the lifetyles in four different cities in France for several magnifiques years!Â
Robert originates from the Mediterranean, born in Nice. Food has always been a family affair for him. His father was a wonderful French cook. He fondly remembers his Italian grandmother rising at 5 am to make homemade gnocchi. She taught him from 12 years of age to cook French/Italian cuisine over their old family wood stove.
