Caroline & Robert are the proud owners and hosts of the Riviera Bed & Breakfast, a niche accommodation on the Gold Coast, near Gilston/Nerang, the Gateway to the hinterland.
Caroline is a Queenslander, born in Bundaberg. She developed a love for Queenslanders after living in two of them as a small child. She later had the privilege of living in Switzerland, before spending several magnifiques years enjoying life across four different cities in France.
Robert was born in Nice, in the heart of the Mediterranean, where food was always central to family life. His father was an accomplished French cook, and some of his fondest memories are of his Italian grandmother rising at 5 a.m. to make homemade gnocchi. From the age of twelve, she taught him to cook traditional French and Italian dishes on their old family wood stove.
