“This place was the best to us! This family is extraordinarily special and sweet! They are doing B&B with passion. The time was very personal. After three days we knew many people at that place. Monsieur served us a special French dinner one night. All his love was in the food. Their place is a little paradise, with all the birds coming every day. Also they make the guests feel like a big family. All are sitting together at breakfast the two hosts are serving breakfast, differently every day! We felt a bit sorry to leave them after three days.”

The place itself is magical and the photos on the internet don’t do it justice at all – it’s absolutely breathtaking. We especially enjoyed dining on the deck for breakfast as a family, as well as the superb French dinner Robert made for us that we had by candlelight. “We only had a short stay at the Gilston Retreat/ Riviera B&B, but it’s not something that we are going to forget. It’s charming antique style rooms, cosy communal loung/ dining area, and a touch of luxury in the bathroom made our stay very comfortable. And the food! Made from homegrown, or fresh market ingredients, and created in-house by the host – a French chef. It’s delicious!”

SI vous detestez prendre un duper breakfast en compagnie d’oiseaux sauvages de paradis – ccatoes, loriquets, kukaburas.
Si siroter un coctail de Robert ou Caroline ou meme un ginger beer au calme sur un transat au bord de la piscine vous ennuie.
SI manger, non plutot deguster les diners Italo-Franco-Sino-Australien des MARCHESI dans une ambiance PROVENCALE vous derange, et pour finir.
SI domir ou vous detendre dans le confort d’une suite digne d’palace vous depait, N’ALLEZ SURTOUT PAS CHEZ LES MARCHESIS!
